]]> Ça faisait longtemps, un petit article en musique! J’ai noté mille et un titres à bloguer, des coups de cœur sur des titres et artistes divers et variés mais là il est question d’un coup de coeur global pour le rock si spécial des Yeah yeah yeahs.

Tout a commencé grâce à Canal + qui a diffusé le clip de Zero je ne sais plus où et en a re-mis une couche dans le générique de fin du Grand Journal.

Coup de cœur immédiat, et il y a de quoi n’est-ce pas. J’ai foncé sur Deezer pour le ré-écouter et je suis tombée sur leur dernier album It’s Blitz et autant dire qu’il déchire.

Visiblement les Anglais New Yorkais (bon sang je sais pas lire parfois^^) des Yeah Yeah Yeahs officient depuis quelques années mais comme on dit mieux vaut tard que jamais puisque je les découvre tout juste. J’aime l’énergie qui s’en dégage, la voix à la fois douce et roc(k)ailleuse de la chanteuse…

J’écoute régulièrement l’album depuis, pour me mettre la pêche notamment. En écrivant cet article je me rends compte que je n’ai pas écouté les précédents opus mais je vais vite remédier à ça!

Ah! Et quand je dis que j’aime leur style en général, j’ai été envoutée l’autre jour par un titre dans Gossip Girl. Je savais que ça me disait quelques chose… Runaway… un titre plus doux mais qui retourne…

Les « arrogant little kids » valent le détour n’est-il pas? Ils seront à Paris pour Rock en seine, moi je dis c’est l’occasion de voir ce que donnent en live la jolie brunette et le prince charming…
